Anthony Carter is the founder and Pastor of Truth Baptist Church. He and his wife Terri have 3 children, a son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. He was called into the ministry by the Lord Jesus Christ while serving in the U.S. Army in the Republic of Panama. The Lord impressed upon his heart to go back to Jacksonville, FL (his hometown) and preach the gospel to all who would listen. Pastor Carter earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, a Master’s Degree in Christian Education and a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. After completing his bachelor's degree, He started a bible study that led to the beginnings of Truth Baptist Church.

Charlie Wilson is the Deacon of Truth Baptist Church. Deacon Wilson is a retired City of Jacksonville Employee who is married to his wife Patricia and they have three children. He is our Men’s Sunday School Teacher and also is active in the church choir and a soloist.
